About
The Southwest Region council consists of volunteers elected by the USA Triathlon membership
representing the states of Arizona, California and Nevada. The Southwest Region Council meets
once a year as a group and participates in monthly conference calls to discuss regional matters.
Minutes from the monthly conference calls are available for your review on this website, see council minutes.
Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage, support, and enhance the multisport experience and support USAT annual members in the Southwest Region (Arizona, California, and Nevada) by:
-
increasing the number of trained and certified officials in order to ensure fair competition;
-
supporting and recruiting certified race directors in order to provide quality race experiences;
-
promoting opportunities for athlete development through our camps, clinics, development programs and regional championships;
-
communicating with our members to make sure they obtain maximum value from their USAT membership;
-
identifying new opportunities that will increase participation in the multisport experience.
